So, over a week ago I had the opportunity to take some family portraits for an amazing couple, Jeremy & Karen. We got together during the wee early morning at Rood Bridge Park, which is an amazing park. I didn’t realize what an awesome park it was. Any way back to the important stuff. Jeremy and Karen are probably one of the most awesome two people you will ever meet. Their are a Godly couple, giving their time, their resources, opening up their home to the youth, and so much more. They truly are an inspiration. Not to mention they have two beautiful little girls, who have awesome personalities, which you will see shine through, on the images below. Hope you enjoy, cause I know I definitely enjoyed my time with them. Thanks again Jeremy & Karen…you both are awesome!

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Nate Bennett. What a beautiful wedding, it’s about time that these two lovely people were able to walk down the aisle together as husband and wife. Below are a few of the pictures I managed to snap during this joyous occasion.

So yesterday, Sean and I went on a little photo adventure in Hillsboro and came across this awesome old school Ford truck, which was parked near the the gravel road we were driving along. We had to get out and take a couple of shots, it was just to freak’n rad to pass up. If you get a moment, don’t forget to stop by Sean’s Musings to check out the awesome pictures he shot. Sean’s a good friend of mine, and he’s become quite the amazing photographer, but he’s too humble to admit it. Any who, below I’ve attached a few other pictures from our little Sunday afternoon photo adventure.
Here’s the rad Ford pickup that we found. I can’t wait to go back when I have a little more time and see what other cool items we can find.
Nice little profile shot of my good friend Sean.
This one is interesting, I love the detail in the stone, but it’s not all over, it’s only in the lower middle portion of the picture.
It never ceases to amaze me how the simplest of things, like wheat grass and a small stream, can be so unique and beautiful.

So I’m extremely stoked. A few weeks ago, I finally got myself the lens I’ve had my eye on for the past three months. I finally got myself a 50mm f/1.8 lens. It’s an awesome little lens; very sharp and easy to use. Considering the fact that I have a D40 and my camera doesn’t support the autofocus mode with this lens, it’s still really easy to use. But that’s not a problem, just an obstacle and I can deal with it, at least for the time being. Plus, isn’t it said that real photographers don’t use autofocus? Any way, below I have attached a few samples of what this little piece of glass is capable of shooting. Enjoy!
The clouds were awesome the other day and I just had to try to capture the beauty of it all.
This was the center communion table we set up for this year’s Pathways: Good Friday Service, looked great all lit up. The picture doesn’t really do it justice, you had to be there to really appreciate the mood of the night.
